About The Game

In Descent, you are tasked with infiltrating and disabling the defense systems of an ancient alien vessel buried deep beneath the surface. To reach the vessel, you will need to navigate through an old cave network riddled with traps set up to defend the ship. Do you have what it takes to survive the descent?

Descent is a challenging precision platformer made within four days. The game was created in Gamemaker Studio 2 and the sound effects were made using BeepBox.

Controls

• Horizontal Movement:  A and D Keys or Left and Right Arrow Keys
• Jump: W Key, Up Arrow Key, or Space Bar
• Attack: Q Key
• Restart Level: R Key
• Exit Game: Escape Key
• Enter/Exit Fullscreen: Alt + Enter
